Country Life

Here is another card using the cartridge Country Life. I used the cartridge Art Philosphy for the card and then used my gypsy to weld the sheep to the card to make a fun window card. The stamp is from Scrappy Moms. I am linking this card up at She's a Sassy Lady and at Pause Dream Enjoy.

Swine Day

Bitten by the Bug is having a farm challenge. I almost went to my most used cartridge Create a Critter, but decided I should try something else for a change. For this card I used the cartridge Country Life and made a simple, but cute card. It is the first time I have used this cartridge and now I think I will be using it again after noticing all the nice images. The stamp is from Scrappy Moms.

Shape card

Two different blogs were asking for shape cards, so I created this little fish bowl card from Create a Critter. The stamp is from Scrappy Moms. I added a wobble to have the fish "swim" on the card. I am linking this card on She's a Sassy Lady, Krafty Girls, Action Wobbles challenge (b challenge, used blue and brown on the card) and linking it up at Pink Cricut.

Long Time No Craft

It has been quite awhile since I have posted anything or even created anything. I have had a few health issues come up that have taken up my concerns and made being creative for crafting quite difficult. Things have settled done a little, so I am trying to get crafting again. So hopefully you will see more cards soon. This card uses Cricut Classic Font and Art Philosophy. I used my gypsy to weld the words to the card. The patterned paper is from a stack by DCWV. I used some Prima flowers, Stickles and a pearl from Stampin Up. I am entering in on challenges at Cardz TV and Die Cuttin Divas.

Have a sunny day!

I think part of what I like about challenges is seeing how many challenges one card can be entered in. I will be entering this card in the challenge for Bitten By The Bug 2, Peachy Keen Challenge, The Cricut Chirp, linking it at She's a Sassy Lady and Pink Cricut. I used the cartridge Simply Charmed. The patterned by is from a paper pad by KI Memories, the sentiment stamp is from Pink By Design and the faces are Everyday Character Face Assotment by Peachy Keen Stamps.

Thanks a melon

Here is a summer inspired card. In summer I always seem to want watermelon, but after one piece, I have usually had enough. So I thought since I haven't had watermelon yet this summer, I might as well make a card with one. I used the cartridge Simply Charmed, google eyes, stickles, pop dots, the ribbon i got on clearance quite awhile ago from Target, the patterned paper came from a pad by KI Memories, the card stock was some I just had just laying around and the stamp is from Joy's Life. I am entering it in challenges for Die Cuttin Divas, Cardz TV and My Craft Spot. Thanks for looking.

What a deer!

I am trying a new way to take pictures of my cards. It seems it will take some trial and error, but I am hoping for some truer colors and more clarity. So we will see if I can get it figured out. I used the cartridge Create A Critter for this card, Bazzil paper, a wobble and the stamp is by K. Andrew. I am entering this in the challenge at Wobble Wednesday and linking it up at Pink Cricut.

Pearl Rose

I was on a card making flow last night and came up with the dragonfly card and this rose card. I used the cartridges Indie Art and Art Philosophy. I use clear Stickles and pearl from Stampin' Up. I used my gypsy to weld the rose to the card. I love the many options the gypsy allows us to do with our Cricuts. I am linking this card at Pink Cricut and at Bitten By The Bug 2. I just have to decide which challenge at BBTB2 I will enter it in, the rose challenge or the birthday pearl challenge.

Drangonfly

I am entering this card at the challenge on Krafty Girls. I used the Art Philosophy cartridge, Bazzill paper, black diamond and true blue stickles and the patterned paper is from a paper pack by DCWV.

Double Wobble

I used the cartridge Create a Critter and the stamp is from Pink Stamper. I put a wobble under each penguin for the challenge over at Wobble Wednesday's Challenge. Not much to say about this card except you can't go wrong with Create A Critter and wobbles. Thanks for looking.

My first card of summer. School is over, until July when I teach summer school, so I am going to try to make the most of my time off. The rose is from Elegant Cakes cartridge, gems from Recollections and paper I had sitting around. I am entering the card in the challenge at Going Buggy, BBTB2, Krafty Girls mission impossible challenge (my husband helped to assemble the card and decided what gems to use) and adding it to link up Tuesday at Pink Cricut.

Hula Hoop Puppy

Here is a card I made for a coworker of mine who has a sweet Wiener dog. I used the cartridge Paisley and added a wobble behind the dog so it gave movement just like it was using the hoopla hoop. I am entering this card in the Wobble Wednesday Challenge.

For Diane

As you may have read in my last post, the end of the school craziness has left my blog somewhat neglected. The other reason is I had been busy planning a retirement party for one of my paraprofessionals. She has been with me for 7 years and had become a good coworker and friend. I made this card, so the staff members at the school could all sign it. The kids on the front of the card were made similar to the kids Diane has worked with. I used Everyday Paper Dolls and Paperdoll Dress Up.

It was a bitter sweet party. I am happy for her, but she will be greatly missed.

Frog Shape Card

I have been neglecting my blog for the last week. The end of the school year is fast approaching and that means getting grades done, graphs printed and my room ready for the summer cleaning the janitors do.

At She's a Sassy Lady their is a shape card challenge. I love the frog on Create a Critter, so went with that. I used a cuttlebug folder I have to give my frog some fun "warty" skin. I am also entering this card on Die Cuttin' Divas challenge and link up Tuesday on Pink Cricut. Thanks for looking and I love all the great comments I have been getting.

So excited!

I have won another challenge. This was for the sun challenge over at Simply Crafts.

Thank you so much!

Baby Shape Card

At Wobble Wednesday's Challenge, the challenge is to make a baby card with a wobble. I made a shape card using my gypsy and then cut an extra body, cut off the head and added a wobble to the head. It gives the card some fun motion, almost like the baby is really crawling. I used the cartridge Baby Steps.

Cake Card

It was a busy weekend, so I am later posting my weekend cards. This card is for the challenges at Bitten By The Bug 2, Die Cuttin Divas and My Creative Time. I used the cartridge Simply Charmed. The glitter paper is from Walmart.

Pretty Pansy

My favorite flower is a pansy. In fact, my first tattoo was a pansy. So, when I saw the challenge on Die Cuttin Divas, inspired by a picture of pansies, how could I resist. I am also entering this card in Wobble Wednesdays, Pink Cricut, Sassy Lady, Fantabulous Cricut, Cooking with Cricut and More Than Favors. I used the cartridge Art Nouveau, an action wobble (love them) and some cardstock I had laying around. Thanks for looking and hope everyone had a great Mother's Day.

Blog Happy!

It has been a happy blog weekend for me. I am up to 11 followers. I know it doesn't seem like many to most people, but I had never thought I would get that many. I started my blog as extra motivation to keep crafting even when I wasn't feeling as inspired or creative. I also started it so I could enter challenges and in turn push my creativity more. I am thankful for my followers and for all the nice comments I have been getting.

The other happy blog moment this weekend is that I found out I won action wobbles from Getting Cricky. I love action wobbles and use them a lot, so how fun to have won some. A big thank you to Getting Cricky for having the wobble challenge.

Sunny Sketch Card

One more card for this weekend. It will be nice once summer break is here and I can craft more than must on weekends. I am entering this card in the Die Cuttin Divas and Simply Crafts challenges. The sun is from Create a Critter and the flourish is from Cake Basics. The pattern paper is from the paper pad The Best of K & Company too. It is a wonderful paper pad with lots and lots of paper.

Mother's Day

With Mother's Day coming there are a lot of challenges to make a card for Mother's Day. I am entering this card in the challenges at My Craft Spot, Wobble Wednesdays, Cardz TV and Scrappy Moms Stamps using the Forever Young cartridge. I am also adding it to the link up at Pink Cricut. This is the first time I have used the Forever Young cartridge, so it was a good challenge to get me using a never used cartridge. I used an action wobble on the middle flower to make it stand out more and give it some fun. The gems are from Stampin Up.

Teacher Appreciation

With teacher appreciation week being next week, I wanted to make cards for the home room teachers who have my students in them. I then saw the challenge on Wobble Wednesday's and thought what a perfect challenge since I love using wobbles. They make a card much more fun. Then as I was checking out other blogs I saw the challenge on Getting Cricky for making an owl and something recycled. Well, most of my cricut cuts are using scraps of paper left over from other projects, so I could enter this challenge too. The cartridges I used are 3Birds Straight From the Nest and Recess. The colors I used on the owl are our school colors. The stamp is from My Creative Time.

Partial Shape Card

One of my wonderful coworkers is having a birthday tomorrow. She loves and raises goats, so i knew I had to make a birthday card with a goat for her. When I checked out She's a Sassy Lady she was having a challenge that I thought would go perfect with this card. I used the cartridge Animal Kingdom and the stamp is from Pink by Design.

Bugs and Kisses

I am entering this card in the challenge at Bitten By The Bug, Krafty Girls, and Pink Cricut. I used the cartridge Give a Hoot for the grass and the cartridge Paisley for the bee. The stamp is from my Pink Stamper. And of course I used Stickles.

What's the Buzz?

I am entering this card in the challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2. The challenge is to use a bee or ladybug, so I used both. The bee is from the Paisley cartridge and the ladybug from Create A Critter, the flower for Walk in My Garden, stamp from My Pink Stamper and of course I added Stickles.

Need For Speed

I am entering this card in to challenges, Fantabulous Cricut and My Craft Spot. Both challenges wanted there to be something for on the go, such as a car, bike, etc. I have never made a card with any sort of vehicle in it, so I really was challenged. Then I came up with my goofy idea you see below. I used the cartridges Beep Beep and Four Legged Friends, cardstock I had sitting around and of course some Stickles. I hope you enjoy my silly card. Thanks for looking

Chihuahua Card

It has been a busy few days of card making, but a good way to end it was to make a card with a chihuahua. This card works for the challenge on Wobble Wednesday, Going-Buggy and the challenge at Paper Playtime. I used the cartridge Animal Kingdom, A. C. cardstock, google eyes, stamp from My Pink Stamper and a scrap of ribbon I had laying around. I also used a wobble. They are so much fun to use and fun to play with on cards. My husband kept shaking the card to watch the chihuahuas head wobble. Thanks for looking and I love all the kind comments I have been getting.

Baby Cards

I don't usually make baby cards but there was a challenge at More Than Favors, so I thought I would make a shape card for the challenge. I used A.C. cardstock, stickles and the cartridge Simply Charmed.

Princess Puppy

I think I am becoming addicted to challenges. Here is a card I am entering for three challenges. At BBTB2 there is a challenge using princess. At Fantabulous Cricut there is a challenge using buttons and bows and at My Craft Spot there is an in and out challenge. I used the cartridge Create a Critter, various cardstock that I had on hand, some ribbons and buttons. The stamp on the inside is from Pink Scrapper.

Woo hoo!

I just won my fist challenge. I won the spinner card challenge at She's a Sassy Lady. Naturally, not hard to win when you're the only entry, but still fun. If you want to learn more about how your gypsy works, you should watch The Gypsy Made Simple videos at Sassy Lady. Sheila does a goo job explaining some of the techniques that can be done on your gypsy. Thanks Sheila for the challenge and keeping making your videos.

Frame Card

I thought I had plenty of time to enter the challenge at She's a Sassy Lady, but when I checked I realized I just had hours left. So, I think for the first time this school year, I actually didn't work during my lunch, but instead made a card. I am also entering this card in the challenge at Die Cuttin Divas. I used my wonderful gypsy, cartridges Art Philosophy and Beyond Birthdays and some card stock I got from JoAnns. I now have to decide if I will add anything to the card once I get home or leave it as is.

Thanks for looking. Your comments mean so much to me.
