Partial Shape Card

One of my wonderful coworkers is having a birthday tomorrow. She loves and raises goats, so i knew I had to make a birthday card with a goat for her. When I checked out She's a Sassy Lady she was having a challenge that I thought would go perfect with this card. I used the cartridge Animal Kingdom and the stamp is from Pink by Design.

 

Bugs and Kisses

I am entering this card in the challenge at Bitten By The Bug, Krafty Girls, and Pink Cricut. I used the cartridge Give a Hoot for the grass and the cartridge Paisley for the bee. The stamp is from my Pink Stamper. And of course I used Stickles.

 

What's the Buzz?

I am entering this card in the challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2. The challenge is to use a bee or ladybug, so I used both. The bee is from the Paisley cartridge and the ladybug from Create A Critter, the flower for Walk in My Garden, stamp from My Pink Stamper and of course I added Stickles.

 

Need For Speed

I am entering this card in to challenges, Fantabulous Cricut and My Craft Spot. Both challenges wanted there to be something for on the go, such as a car, bike, etc. I have never made a card with any sort of vehicle in it, so I really was challenged. Then I came up with my goofy idea you see below. I used the cartridges Beep Beep and Four Legged Friends, cardstock I had sitting around and of course some Stickles. I hope you enjoy my silly card. Chihuahua Card

It has been a busy few days of card making, but a good way to end it was to make a card with a chihuahua. This card works for the challenge on Wobble Wednesday, Going-Buggy and the challenge at Paper Playtime. I used the cartridge Animal Kingdom, A. C. cardstock, google eyes, stamp from My Pink Stamper and a scrap of ribbon I had laying around. I also used a wobble. They are so much fun to use and fun to play with on cards. My husband kept shaking the card to watch the chihuahuas head wobble. Thanks for looking and I love all the kind comments I have been getting.

 

 

Baby Cards

I don't usually make baby cards but there was a challenge at More Than Favors, so I thought I would make a shape card for the challenge. I used A.C. cardstock, stickles and the cartridge Simply Charmed.

 

Cardz TV Challenge

Here is a card for a challenge on Cardz TV. The challenge was to use rainbow colors. I used card stock I had on hand, glitter paper I got from Walmart and the cartridge was 3 Birds on Parade.

 

April Showers

Here is a fun card for April. The card stock is A. C., ice stickles, the stamp is from Pink By Design and the cartridge I used is 3 Birds on Parade. I am entering this card in the challenge on Fantabulous Cricut and on CardzTV.

 

Smile

Another card for several challenges. I used the Create a Critter cartridge, Peachy Keen Stamps, everyday character face assortment and ruby slippers Glitz Stickles. This card is for challenges on BBTB, Mojo Monday, My Craft Spot.

 

 

Princess Puppy

I think I am becoming addicted to challenges. Here is a card I am entering for three challenges. At BBTB2 there is a challenge using princess. At Fantabulous Cricut there is a challenge using buttons and bows and at My Craft Spot there is an in and out challenge. I used the cartridge Create a Critter, various cardstock that I had on hand, some ribbons and buttons. The stamp on the inside is from Pink Scrapper.

 

 

Woo hoo!

I just won my fist challenge. I won the spinner card challenge at She's a Sassy Lady. Naturally, not hard to win when you're the only entry, but still fun. If you want to learn more about how your gypsy works, you should watch The Gypsy Made Simple videos at Sassy Lady. Sheila does a goo job explaining some of the techniques that can be done on your gypsy. Thanks Sheila for the challenge and keeping making your videos.

 

Frame Card

I thought I had plenty of time to enter the challenge at She's a Sassy Lady, but when I checked I realized I just had hours left. So, I think for the first time this school year, I actually didn't work during my lunch, but instead made a card. I am also entering this card in the challenge at Die Cuttin Divas. I used my wonderful gypsy, cartridges Art Philosophy and Beyond Birthdays and some card stock I got from JoAnns. I now have to decide if I will add anything to the card once I get home or leave it as is.

Spinner Card

At She's a Sassy Lady, there is a spinner card challenge. This is my first spinner card ever. The patterned paper is DCWV and the cardstock is Bazzill. I used True Blue Ice Stickles and the cartridge Create a Critter. It doesn't spin as smooth as I would like, but not bad for my first try. Thanks for looking.

 

My babies

I thought since my blog title is Crafting With My Chis it was about time to share some of my wonderful babies. Whenever I sit on the couch, every chihuahua seems to end up in my lap. Here is a picture of the nightly ritual.

 

 

Easter Card

 

There are many fun challenges going on for Easter, so I decided to make a fun Easter card. The challenges I am entering this card into are: Getting Cricky, Easter blessing, Krafty Girls, Fantabulous Cricut, More Than Favors, Scrappy Moms and Craft Junkie. I used the cartridges Doodlecharms and Sophie for the cuts. Card stock I had sitting around, patterned paper from All Through the Seasons Crafters Block and lots and different colored Stickles. I knew there was a reason I needed so many different colors of Stickles.

 

 

 

Blogsy

I have been doing my blog using my IPad and the Blogger app. I wasn't happy with the app and there didn't seem to be anyway to add links to other's blogs, so now I am trying the app Blogsy. It is going to take some learning, but it definitely has more features to use. So hopefully, I won't make too many mistakes in my learning and if I do please accept my apologies in advance and thanks for your patience and checking out my creations.

Cupcake Card

Here is a card out of character for me. I am entering the card in the challenge at Pink By Design, spring inspiration. Using peach colors is something I don't usually do. I am also entering the card in the Creative Time for Me throw back challenge. Most of the card stock is from Stampin Up. I used baker's twine and stickles. The cupcake is from the cartridge Simply Charmed.

 

 

 

Out Like A Lamb Challenge

I used the cartridge Create a Critter, stickles, some gems and a variety of papers I had sitting around.
It has been a lot of fun entering challenges and reading everyone's nice comments. I look forward to continuing my blog.

Flower Shape Card

I am an avid follower of shesasassylady.blogsot.com. Sheila has posted another challenge and that is to make a card with a flower shaped base. I used the cartridges Sentimentals for the bee and Sophie for the flowers. The paper is from a KI paper pad. I couldn't decide what color of Stickles to use, so I tried yellow on the top card and crystal on the bottom. They both look so close,it was hard to tell them apart.
Now my challenge to myself is to see if I can get one more card done this weekend and still get some work done for school.
